We all see it on the news, hear it from our friends and family. But you never thought it would actually happen to you. Your personal/busienss account was compromised from someone else. They got to your information, and re-duplicated it and cost you alot of money. For business, it can be extremely expensive and cause alot of problems.
If you create your own checks. The best thing is to use the newer version of versacheck programs and then your required to register it through gvalidate. It will allow you to secure your account and protect against fraud. Then when you need new checks, what kind do i need? Having is busienss is already hard enough. Customer service can be hard as well, but offering the best service, price, product and making your customer happy will keep your business alive and busy. If your customer ordered something from your website that day. Try your best to get it shipped out same or by the next day. Always let your customers know what your shipping policy is.

If you have a complex website that offers alot of products, like tax forms. You always need to make sure you know what your talking about. If your prices are a little high in some areas, but you offer assistance, and get it shipped. It really stand out to them. If your customer is too busy to place the order, do it for them. I know of a site that can do it, but send you the link for the checkout. The customer will see the items in the cart, and they will check out and everyone wins. If the customer needs check for payroll, and is using VersaCheck refill, make sure its exactly what they need. Specify if its for checks in the middle or check on top.

Do you need to have multi users to print business checks for the same company? VersaCheck Platinum will allow you to select from single user, or multi users (5 users). Keep one thing in mind that you have to use the versacheck refills with any of the VersaCheck accounting software. If your looking to purchase a new check printing program. A few things you need to know about. All of the versacheck program for 2011 (7 different types) requires you to do a few things. Each of the programs may do some things a little different, but same overall. You must purchase their versacheck refills. Each box (250 Qty) has a validation code in the box. Its required to use, to print your personal/business checks with. The validation code is to make sure your in compliance with the check 21 laws. Just don’t forget to use MICR ink not the regular ink.
Versacheck Refills
When you purchase the program and the checks. Before you’ll be able to use the program. You’ll have to validate your checking accountant before printing check. You’ll go to gvalidate.com and submit a check for $0.01, and then you’ll see the check come back through to your account. Place the check number into the program to VALIDATE and your able to use your program and the rest of the checks.
They have done that to help combat the check fraud that is occurring out there. Yes, their are other programs that is going to be doing the same thing soon. It may be a little bit of an inconvenience, but it will give you allot more security for your checking account.

Want to have accurate inventory? When you grab a product for a customer, and if you box it up. Scan the item when it comes into your inventory, and out as well. Using custom bar codes on your inventory will keep your inventory accurate and organized. Just like using your VersaCheck Refills business checks. Each business checks has a check number.
If you do inventory every 6 months, its always good to do a cycle count. A cycle count is a mini inventory on certain items or category. Its very useful on the most popular selling items, to make sure you have enough on hand. You can create your own labels using MS Word, word-pefect, or other programs that are available. You dont have to use the most expensive program to make it work. Using a scanner is really great to use. With your inventory, use it to keep track not only of the item, but Serial Number, and Model Number, in your accounting software.
Business checks are required by law to meet and or exceed certain criteria. Each business checks is made of 24# paper, and must have at least 5 security features. The security features that is most visible is on back that says “ORIGINAL DOCUMENT.” On the right side of the check, will have a padlock icon, alerts handler that document contains security features.
MicorPrint has the small type in check border and back signature lines. Look hard, or you’ll miss it. It will have security screen and artificial watermark. Each check must have it. Some think that the checks are cheap or flimsy looking. Because its dealing with money, and security. They must have those features. Don’t

We all by now have a debit or a credit card. When we go to the ATM machine, we are at a high risk of being hit by a scammer. The credit card skimmers are growing by 10% according to the secret services. Their are a few safe guards that we can use to protect our selves. We just have to be more careful where we use our cards at.
The skimmers are going to be more prone at convenient stores, small grocery stores, fairs, and other major public outlet. Some of these people are using a micro camera to see your PIN number, while they capture your credit/debit card information. If you need cash, just go to your bank and get it where you know for a fact your information wont be stolen. If you put in your card into a ATM machine and its loose…dont use it. You can write out a check for cash that will be safer. Just like when your ordering versacheck refills, it comes with a check validation code. Its just for your protection of the program to make sure the checks you just purchased is check 21 compliance.

They all print checks, but the silver does only the personal checks, the rest does business checks. Each of them will be able to help you with your business needs. When you printing your business checks, dont forget to make sure you get the versacheck refills, and MICR ink.
If yo don’t use the MICR ink, your bank could charge you for manul processing of your checks. ALL checks are pritned with MICR ink. The checks are availbe in the colors of blue, burgundy, green or tan. The styles are Classic, Graduated, Prestige, and Premium (more expense). Some companies can ship them same day, and if you order directly from the manufacture, it may be a day or two before they can ship it and, be more costly. Find a company that will be able to sell them to you at discount prices. Usually the more you buy, the cheaper it can be per box of checks. Most of the versa checks are 250 qty per box of checks.
