Are you ordering important documents to be printed, like cheap business checks? Need them to be secure, secret, and arive safely to your business? Yes to both of those questions is what im looking for. UPS and fed ex does an excellent job in shipping. UPS and FedEx is enabled into Quickbooks and you can even do estimates, or bill it to the customers invoice.
Peachtree offers UPS only, and can be billed to the customers invoice as well. Once you process the shipping from Quickbooks, or Peachtree, an email can be sent to your customers to inform them of the shipping method, with tracking number. Every time you process an shipment from UPS from Peachtree, it will email your customer to let them know of the tracking number, and when the estimate date of delivery is for their product.

How do I log on to access Advanced Features?
Peachtree customers with a warranty or support plan can log on to their Advanced Features through Peachtree Passport. If you don’t currently have a Peachtree Passport account set-up, you’ll have an option to create one before accessing the Advanced Features of the Knowledgebase / Live Chat Assistance. Unless you log on, your Advanced Features will not be available to you.
You can verify if you are logged on by looking at the “Logged On Status Indicator” (pictured above). Unless you log on, your Advanced Features will not be available to you.

Its alwasy great to get a good business going, and watch it grow. Letting the business grow slowly is the best. You can always watch the new customers come, and let them spread the word, and more new customers come back again. If you grow too fast, then you’ll make the money YES, but you may begin to loose some of the most important concepts, like customer service and accounting aspects.
When Walmart and Best Buy came out of no where, they started small. It was a very wise business decision that they did. Best Buy originated in MN, after a storm damaged alot of the appliances, tv’s and etc… He had a BEST BUY sign, and since it was such a great hit. The owner decided to call the business “BEST BUY” They started small and because of their prices, options, and customer service, it has been a great business.
The small MOM and POP stores, have done well, but grew to fast, and failed. Its always good to have a great business plan though. Its good to make sure you have a good accounting program to help your business out. Peachtree Quantum by sage is a great choice to use.
I’ve been employed as an office assistant at a large metropolitan law firm for many years. I handle both payroll and billing in addition to reception duties. Through force of habit, I became accustomed to the conventions of QuickBooks software – it was just what the office had always used. When my boss announced that we would be updating our system to use Peachtree, I was worried. How long was it going to take me to get all of the accounts back up to speed?

Peachtree Accounting Software does an excellent job keeping up with the inventory. If you buy the same product, but in different qty’s with a difference in the price, it will tell you how much you have made on that qty. It offers FIFO and LIFO. If your dealing with lawn mowers, it offers a serial # control as well. That is an excellent thing to use to help your customers with the warranty. Of course theirs so much more.
Peachtree by sage will allow you to put in orders automatically for the inventory. You can do a detail report of what customer bought what. When your doing an invoice, it will show you what you have on hand, on order, and where the inventory is located at in the warehouse. When you need to do an inventory adjustment, it has a box for the adjustment and the reason why. Thats nice to have.

1970s
The Computer System Center (TCS), founded in 1976 by Ron Roberts, Steve Mann, Mike Jones and Ben Dyer, was Atlanta’s first computer store where the accounting software, Peachtree, was created. Retail Sciences, Inc. purchases the accounting software that becomes Peachtree Software.
1980′s
Peachtree Software makes a secret deal with IBM to create the accounting software bundled on the first IBM PC. The first IBM PC ships August 12, 1981 and Peachtree Software is included.
Peachtree Software is purchased by Intelligent Systems, who lowers the price to $200 and sells it via a direct marketing ad in the Wall Street Journal – beginning an innovative revolution in small business accounting software.
1990′s
Peachtree introduces the first accounting software for Windows in 1991. Peachtree acquires One-Write Plus and launches Peachtree Office Accounting, the first open architecture accounting software for small businesses.
Automatic Data Processing (ADP) acquires Peachtree Software in 1994, and sells it to The Sage Group, plc in 1999.
2000′s
Sage introduces the Peachtree industry vertical solutions for accountants, construction, nonprofits, distribution and manufacturing.
Sage introduces outsourced payroll services and Direct Deposit services for Peachtree customers.
Sage introduces Peachtree by Sage – Quantum, an affordable next step accounting solution for companies that have outgrown the capacity of the current Peachtree product line or other similar small business accounting solutions.
