Changing from Quickbooks checks to peachtree business checks is really easy to do. Of course you have to move your data over from QB to Peachtree, but the programs does make it easy to do. Peachtree is more accurate than QB anyways. If you have used the same company to print your business it will make it just that more easy for the order.

When you re-place the new order, just make sure you select checks in Middle, or peachtree checks. You will have 4 different styles to select from though. No need to re-fax a copy of your check unless your changing accounts. The process would be the same and is easy to do. Enjoy using Peachtree and you’ll never go back to QB.

This is the time of the year that when were shopping online, or in a store, that we have to be careful with our purchases. Use your debit/credit card only in places that your familiar with and know your not going to have any problems with. If you need cash, go to your BANK ATM or teller to receive the extra money. Dont use the ATM at a convience store, as it could have a skimmer to get your information with.

If your using a personal check, or business checks. Heres a few things to look for. Make sure the check you ordered is a reputable company. On the back of the Peachtree or Quickbooks business checks you’ll see this: Padlock Icon, VOID Pantograph, Microprint, Security Screen, Artificial Watermark and others as you increase the security type.

I had done my business and personal banking at the same bank for over 8 years. I had to make a huge change when the bank i was at had made some changes. I was going to sign up for a new service, but couldn’t get it, and still was charged for the service. I had changed to a bank that offered alot more, for the same thing, but less. That bank changed the type of account with a monthly fee. Not happy about that.

I had to re-order peachtree business checks, but it wasn’t no problem at all though. I went back to the same company that I have ordered checks from before and was able to have a proof the same day. So…changes can be good for your company and you”ll be surprised at what you can find with new changes.

Business checks come in different styles. Checks on top, checks in middle, full page of checks, or 3 up personal. Checks in middle, and top is the most common ordered on the market. Marble blue, green, and burgundy are the top color/styles to use. The more you order, the more you will be able to save for your business.

Checks on top out ranks checks in middle for the type of check being ordered. Quickbooks is the most common program for checks on top. You can order the checks, with or with out the lines. One or two signature lines, and of course, dont forget to add your logo to the check. More professional you are, the better it will look for you. Dont forget to be organized with everything.

Are the holidays affecting your sales?

We all know that this year has been very hard on everyone and especially the small businesses. We are not excluded from the financial hardship that the USA has endured. We go under foreclosures and business closes, and their has been an very high rate of bankruptcy on both levels. Since the holidays are coming, it can be very hard for businesses to endure as well.

One thing you can do to help your sales is to offer coupons, and increase your customer service. Even though sales may be down, just do the best you can and make sure your website is easy to navigate and use. When making your business successful. Using peachtree accounting software will help you to run your business honestly with accurate numbers. Peachtree busines checks are available in different styles/designs.

Their was 2 girls locally that was arrested for going around and stealing checks out of mailboxes. They found the checks and tried to cash then, and some of the checks was altered. Its easy for crooks to edit a personal or business check. How can you protect your checks? Their are several ways that will help alot.

Peachtree business checks and quickbooks checks are easy to use and can save you time. When writing a check, dont hand write them, as the ink can be easily altered. Dont use ink-jet, as it bleeds through and can be altered with chemicals as well. Using a laser printer will fuse the powder ink to the check paper, and make it very difficult for the check to be changed. Its ashamed that with our society that we have to keep on making changes to make a payment.  I would recommend NOT to leave a check in your mail box. If your going to have checks coming alot, why not get a P.O. Box. That way you know it will be safe. Mail your checks from the post office, or electronically send the check.

We all know that printing business checks has to work using a printer, check paper, ink, and the accounting software. Are you printing over 25 checks a day for your small company? Want a easy way to sign then with out having the owner or using a stamp that blurs? Why not have the authorized user to sign some paper and import it into MS word or Word Perfect.

First have the authorized person to sign the peice of paper. Scan it into a program like Paint Shop Pro. Save it as a JPEG or BMP. Import the picture to MS word and create a template for it and make sure its password protected. That way you print 25 business checks, put it back through and print 25 copies of the signature onto the check and your done. A very simple way to make things easier.

Blue Marble business checks is the most popular

What is the number one selling type/color checks on the market today? It is the Blue Marble Style checks. Its available for Quickbooks (checks on top), and Peachtree Business Checks(checks in middle). The blue has the same security features as the rest of the checks. One best feature is when you copy them, it will have a pantograph of VOID on the copied check.

Having security for your business checks is just as important as making sure no one uses your ID for fraud. If you hand write the business checks, make sure the ink is , wont smear. Recommend to use a laser printer, as the powder is fused onto the paper. The marble blue can go with any type of business that you are in. If your not sure…..ask for samples.

Changing over to Peachtree accounting software is very easy to do. Their is a convert program with the peachtree programs that allows you to move things. Why not start using peachtree out of the box vs using quickbooks. WHY? Peachtree has FIFO and LIFO, and will give you the accurate numbers for what you have made for the year off of that product.

Quickbooks will give you an Average number. You hate lairs right? Well so do we with an accounting program that will give you the wrong information. When using the peachtree business checks, is easy and you’ll have four templates to select from and use. Not sure what to use. When needing to order more business checks you have options, go into your local bank or you can order then from the convience of your own home! You can oder checks online and there are several benifits to doing so.

One of the assets to ordering online is first and foremost its cheaper, secondly it is way faster then having to get in your car and drive to the back, then wait in line to deal with a cranky teenager behind the desk who may or may not be able to help you out will all your needs. And thirdly when ordering online you have a lot more options open to you, such as adding your logo to the checks, and choosing the font, and even having extra security.

Gold hits 5-month high above $1200

By Blake Ellis, staff reporterMay 6, 2010: 3:46 PM ET

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Gold surged past the psychologically significant $1,200 mark on Thursday as stock markets plummeted and investors sought a safe haven.

What prices are doing: Gold for June delivery settled up $22.30, or nearly 2%, at $1,197.30 an ounce but climbed above $1,200 after its settlement, hitting the highest level since Dec. 4.

What’s moving the market: Investors flocked to safer investments like gold on Thursday as concerns about Greece’s debt persisted and markets tumbled.

The Dow plunged nearly 1,000 points in afternoon trading Thursday. Before this drop, stocks were all lower as investors worried that Greece’s debt problems could spread to other euro zone countries.

“You have strong investment demand for gold as a safe haven to hedge against what has been happening in Greece and other European countries,” said Carlos Sanchez, a precious metals analyst at CPM Group.

Sanchez said Greece’s problems have caused a ripple effect in the markets, and that gold has been climbing as stocks fall and the dollar heads higher.

“If this break above $1,200 holds, we may see follow-through buying and may see prices pushed toward last year’s high of $1,230 because of such high investment demand,” he said.  Business checks are used to help with buying Gold across the nation.
