Rough estimates conclude that up to 90 percent of all computers are infected with spyware. Spyware can track keystrokes and give criminals passwords and bank account numbers. These days it is ignorant to think no one wants access to your personal information on your computer. Everyone is at risk of theft and privacy protection should be a top priority.

For those who do become victims of identity theft, it is likely that most or even all of their money may be stolen before they have an idea what’s going on. In addition to the loss of hard-earned money, credit score damage is also a side effect of identity theft. Learning how to protect your privacy online can save you thousands of dollars and endless trouble. If you’re worried about putting your business’ banking information on the web, use paper business checks for all of your transactions.

Its that time of the year, that alot of companies are getting ready for the next season. Some is tax season to start in September, and others is for the upcoming Holiday season. Its important to re-index your site, so your sitemap will be up to date. If you forget, you’ll loose the ranking with the search engine. If its slow, its a good time to do extra work on your site as well.

Re-indexing your site map will help to increase your sales. Dont forget to update it with google as well. Dont forget to update your accounting supplies as well. Ordering business checks last minute can be bad. Keep everything in stock, and be organized.

Upgrading your website will help your sales. Repeat customers like to see new things, and especially your website. You’ll get more sales if you make the site look more professional and easy to navigate around. Make sure you have pictures and detailed information about every item and category you offer.

If your sales are slow from the 4th of July Holiday, why not have your accountant to make sure your business has enough checks. Peachtree business checks can be found with alot of colors and styles. Doing upgrade to every aspect of your business is what will make your business succeed over someone elses that isnt maintained that well. Offer discounts, and maybe free shipping on some items, and watch your sales increase.

If you order business checks and you need them tomorrow. Its a slim chance you can order and get them that quick. If its the first order, it may take time to set everything up for the order. You’ll need to approve the proof, then have the company to print and ship them.

It will cost a lot more if you need to have them shipped overnight. Why not order a week in advance  and not be rushed. Dont want any mistakes on your side that can delay using the checks.

Sales are down everywhere, but what have you done for your company after the 4th of July Holiday? I made the recommendation to the accounting manager to order cheap business checks for the company and save some money. Cheap business checks are easy to find, and will save you alot of money.

The bank charges at least $75-80 for 250 business checks. You can find them at low as $35-40 for the same thing. Why not save and order cheap business checks with more variety of colors and options. Your repeat orders will be alot easier to do for the company. Saving money during this hard time is always the best thing for your business.

Being a accountant is alot of work and sometimes we let things get buy us and not realize it. I have used alot of checks in one day and got to the end of the box and ran out of checks. OOPS. I hate that when that happens. It costs me extra money to get them shipped ASAP. The price of the checks isn’t the problem

The shipping for 3000 checks is the problem, when i need them 2nd day air. That is 36 lbs that i have to pay for vs ground that is alot cheaper. Checks is easy to do. Order checks that you need, and to save time, go back to the company that you had ordered previously and it will be easier.

I dont know about you but for me it is very aggravating when I am out of checks and I go to the back to order them and then they tell me it will be 5 days before I will receive them. Also they are so expensive, but there are option on how to get cheap checks fast.

Did you know that you have to option of ordering your checks and getting then with in 2 to 3 days? Well you can and not only that but you can also put so much detail on your checks. You can add your own business logo on it and you can even have extra security on your checks as to having void appear on your checks when someone tries to make a copy. Also you can even have a personal message on your checks to make it more personable to the recipient of the check.

Banking Made Easy

A few months ago, the Bank of America in my community installed new ATM machines that allow for paperless transactions. This means that there is no need for envelopes or deposit slips when you want to put in funds. While this is certainly convenient, especially for my personal accounts, I would prefer to have a paper trail when it comes to my business・accounting.

In order to monitor all of the company’s transactions thoroughly, I still use deposit slips every time I put money into the account. However, I keep the deposit slip for myself, serving as a receipt of the transaction. This allows me to keep accurate books on my own and gives me some ammunition if I ever need to dispute a transaction on my account.

When needing to order more business checks you have options, go into your local bank or you can order then from the convience of your own home! You can oder checks online and there are several benifits to doing so.

One of the assets to ordering online is first and foremost its cheaper, secondly it is way faster then having to get in your car and drive to the back, then wait in line to deal with a cranky teenager behind the desk who may or may not be able to help you out will all your needs. And thirdly when ordering online you have a lot more options open to you, such as adding your logo to the checks, and choosing the font, and even having extra security.

The company is bust – but corporate card bills live on

The company is bust – but corporate card bills live on

When a company goes under, employees can be stuck with the liability for their corporate credit cards.

Becky, Birmingham, Ala.
My company, an LLC, is insolvent and dissolving. No formal bankruptcy will be filed, and unsecured creditors will not be paid. I know there’s potential for my credit card company to serve me with a lawsuit if I am unable to commit to a payoff plan. Can my employees also be held liable? In other words, can employees who charged company expenses on the corporate credit card be sued for the amount they charged on the card?
By Lenora Chu, CNNMoney.com contributing writer
Where liability rests depends on the specific terms of the member services agreement under which the corporate card was issued. Those agreements differ widely from issuer to issuer.

Some agreements stipulate that the card issuer must first pursue the company or master cardholder — usually the company officer or director that first opened the account — for unpaid balances, says Joseph Rosenbaum, an attorney and partner with the law firm Reed Smith LLP.

Others allow the issuer to come after both the company and its employees for various charges, says business attorney Steven Fox of the law firm Epstein, Becker & Green.

In this scenario, the agreement generally says that the master cardholder is liable for charges he makes on his individual card, as well as those made on other corporate employee cards, Fox says. Make sure when you write a business checks, that you have the funds to cover for it, or it will add to more problems you have.

Keeping good records?

Like most businesses you most likely keep a very good record system so that way you can track your business checks. Its always a good idea to check your bank statement every month to make sure your checks are matching up to your other paper work.

Having good easy to read checks help in this as well. If you have a check that is messy and small and hard to read then checking it can become a hassle. So make sure when ordering your checks to make it simple and keep that nice clean look to them.

Have you ever been in a situation where you write a check and you realize its your last one, and you then remember that you have other checks to write as well? I have learned that its always best to order my cheap business checks when I’m on my last booklet of checks. So what way you have plenty of time to get them ordered, you approve them and then have then shipped to you.

Also try to make sure that what was on your last set of checks is one the next set, unless you are changing on a permanent base. You always want to have as much consistency as possible so your customers know what to look for.  And make sure you when approving your checks you double check to make sure all your information is correct so that way its right the first time.
