When needing to order more business checks you have options, go into your local bank or you can order then from the convience of your own home! You can oder checks online and there are several benifits to doing so.

One of the assets to ordering online is first and foremost its cheaper, secondly it is way faster then having to get in your car and drive to the back, then wait in line to deal with a cranky teenager behind the desk who may or may not be able to help you out will all your needs. And thirdly when ordering online you have a lot more options open to you, such as adding your logo to the checks, and choosing the font, and even having extra security.

Like most businesses you most likely keep a very good record system so that way you can track your business checks. Its always a good idea to check your bank statement every month to make sure your checks are matching up to your other paper work.

Having good easy to read checks help in this as well. If you have a check that is messy and small and hard to read then checking it can become a hassle. So make sure when ordering your checks to make it simple and keep that nice clean look to them.

MSA: Oklahoma City, OK
Best places ranking: #1 among large metro areas
Population: 1,206,142
Places that are booming with business like, Oklahoma is great for the economy. The business that are new, will need to order cheap business checks, for either their peachtree accounting, or quickbooks program. Just make sure you contact your bank for all your requirements.
Stable and affordable, Oklahoma City is a haven for entrepreneurial risk takers. It boasts the second lowest foreclosure rate among large U.S. metro areas, along with the second lowest median rent. Through the Great Recession this former Dust Bowl capital has been spared many hardships, with a diverse local economy spread across medical research, energy, education and government.Oklahoma City also benefits from a high concentration of deep-pocketed local investors, many of them veterans of the oil and gas industry, who are willing to take a gamble on companies that might spend 10 years bringing a new product to fruition. And the city itself has been a powerful friend to life-science startups, funding the 1996 construction of the Presbyterian Health Foundation Research Park. The complex — 700,000 square feet of space in seven buildings on a 27-acre site — has attracted an influx of innovative biomedical firms.

Oklahoma City has its drawbacks. Among the most tornado-prone cities in America, it has the dubious distinction of getting hit in 1999 by the worst twister on record, with winds topping 320 miles per hour. And forget about entertaining your visiting clients with top-notch sporting events: Oklahoma City has only one professional franchise, the NBA’s Oklahoma City Thunder, which had its first season in 2008 and finished 26th in the league. -Alec Foege

If your like all business owners right now you are worried about what you can do to get the interest of customers. Why not try a new look on your Business Checks?  There are so many options to choose from that can cause your checks to stand out from the rest.

You can make your checks more personable by adding a catchy personal message over the signature line to catch the eye of your customers. Or you could even add your logo onto the check by implementing a watermark to your check. You can even have MICR used on your checks to help your customers feel more secure.

Organized website helps your sales

Organized website helps your sales and customers. If your sales are slow, why not focus on working on your website. One idea you can do is organize your site more. Clean up your pictures so they are clear and crisp. Have the pictures where they are nice looking, but not too huge in size, or it will make the site load slowly. Add text and make it clear so you’re customers can know what your talking about.

If your site is clean, professional looking and easy to use, your sales are going to increase. Put a banner onto your site to advertise a certain percentage off if your sales are slow. Have your accounting dept to make sure they have enough cheap business checks for the month and not wait to the last minute.

What is MICR?

MICR stands for, Magnetic Ink Character Recognition, its a special type of ink used by banks on business checks and personal checks so they can read them with a special machine. This ink helps ensure that you are protected and that even if the numbers get smugged the machine can still read them because of the iron oxide in it.There are a few places that this ink is used, it is not on the whole check but just on certain places.

One place that MICR is used is on the account number  which is located at the bottom of the check. Another place it can be used is on the banks name to be identified better. A third place is could be is on the amount (which is usually left empty when you purchase the check) to secure that the amount is right and can not be changed.

Is it easy to re order business checks?

Is it easy to re order business checks? Yes it is easy to re order business checks. Just go back to the company you had placed the order with and fill in the information they request. Mostly they will ask for the previous order number, check color you want ( if you changed your mind), if you want the logo to be imprinted onto the order again and etc….

Re-ordering from the same company will save you time, and that can save you money. Most companies that you re-order from has your information already on file. So if you approve the proof, then you’ll get the order printed more than likely same business day and shipped. I’ve seen other companies that can take up to a week before any size order is actually printed.
