Offer more payment options for your customers will help convert customers into sales

As a small business owner, we are trying to maximize our sales to have more profit. One of the best ways is to offer your customers more payment options. I just added recently American Express. Yes it does have more of a fee than the other 3 credit cards (Visa, Master Card, and Discover) but you’ll be able to make a sale and have a profit. Having a merchant account is expensive enough as it is. 
Offer one more great payment option to your customers and that is for them to Mail you a Check for payment. Yes its a risk just like accepting credit cards, but the fees are lower though. Once you receive the check, you can use a onsite check deposit from your bank (accept money orders, cheap business checks, quickbooks and peachtree checks), to make the deposit from your desk. Having that option does reduce someone else handling the money, and reduces expenses from going to and from the bank every day. Go out on the limb for your customers and you can easily increase your conversion rate. Got to spend money, to make money.

Theirs a tropical storm that has just formed in the Atlantic Ocean. The track is heading for the state of Florida and maybe Georgia. When we have a business, its important that you back up your business files and put it into your bank safety deposit box. What if your business got flooded and needed to get your business files. It would be safe and nothing to worry about.
If your business is flooded but you dont have a backup, you could loose years of business information, and accounting files. Make sure you have a back up for a backup and your business is insured as well. What would you do if your business checks were all wet from flooding, how would you re start where you left off. Check with your bank and see what was the last business
checks that had cleared and re-order business checks again.

Are you spending too much on business checks from your bank that is imprinted? Why not look on line for “Cheap Business Checks”. Finding cheap business checks online is easy to do. If you find a company on line and place large orders. You’ll be surprised
at the amount you can save for the year vs. buying it from the bank. Online you can customized the checks better than the bank can. You can get 250 imprinted checks for $38, vs $75 that the banks will charge
Dont forget to add your color logo to the cheap business checks. What is the difference for cheap business checks than the banks? Nothing at all. Security features are going to be the same, or just a little different, but still is in compliance with the banks and the check 21 laws. The banks make a huge profit off of the business checks, and not much colors/styles where as online you can find at least 15 different checks.

Having a online business is very hard to do. Alot to keep up with if your running it by your self. You have orders to process, bills to pay, website maintenance, phone calls, onsite help to customers, email, and so much more. One thing we really have to watch to keep our profit up is fraud orders. Theirs several things to keep an eye on when the orders come through.
Look at the billing and shipping address. If they are in the same zip code, then more than likely its safe. If the order billing and shipping is across country with 2nd day, or overnight order, and its for cheap checks, then more likely its fraud. 
Look at the email address and see if its related to the order. Use your smartphone to receive copies of the orders. That way if your away from the office, you can monitor the orders as well. Keeping fraud down will save your business. If you get an order for per say for $50, and you ship it. Then you receive a charge back for $50. You have just lost $100. Another way to keep fraud down is to call and verify the order after someone places it. It shows that you offer great customer service and a better chance of having a repeat order.

During this past week, it has been slower than normal for sales. Usually a week before a major holiday, we’ll see sales slower then, but not this early. What are you doing since sales are slow, and not processing alot of orders? Have you cleaned up your website, and checked to make sure the SEO is completed on the site? SEO really makes a huge difference on the site if its completed or not.
Re-check your main key words to see if any of them needs to be changed, or added. Make sure each category, sub category, and product page is completed. Just like ordering cheap business checks. If its not signed, the check wont be any good. Same principal with the SEO. 100% optimized webpage will be seen more by the search engines. SEO and doing blogs really does help your site. Its not easy having an online store, but it does take alot of time, just like having a regular brick & mortar store. Gota keep it clea

We all need to make sure our business checks are safe and wont be used fraudulent. You can find bulk blank checks that the security features are not the lowest, but not the highest. Better security features comes with at least 9 security features. The features are visible in a box on the back side of the check. If you wish, you can even request samples to make sure it will fit your business usage
. The more bulk blank checks you buy, the cheaper it will be in the long run.
The extra protection with checks that are more difficult to replicate or manipulate. The features for the better security bulk blank checks are:

When getting a business started. We need to know what accounting to use. The two that is most popular is Peachtree Accounting, or Quickbooks. They are both a very great program to use. Peachtree can be harder to learn, but it really offers deep inside onto your business. It does have a cleaner looking home page that shows a graph of everything you need to pay, or others that need to pay you as well.
Peachtree has FIFO and LIFO in the program where quickbooks does not. Quickbooks is the most commonly used program on the market and does outsell peachtree. If your a business that buys in different bulk and re-sale at different prices. I would recommend peachtree accounting overall. Peachtree gives you the accurate amount that you made for the year, vs quickbooks that only does average. You want to know the honest truth on what you have done for sales and profit. Then i would go with Peachtree. If you sell things at the same price, and what you buy. then quickbooks will do just fine. Dont forget to order your Quickbooks business checks from someone else as it will be more expensive from the bank.

Its important to keep your business organized, but keeping the accounting organized and accurate is more important. Use different colors or styles for the quickbooks business checks. That way you know what checking account is assigned to the checks for billing or anything else you may need. Dont forget to use your business logo onto the checks to promote your business brand.
Color logo does cost more, but makes the document more professional looking. Quickbooks business checks are still outselling the peachtree business checks. About 83% of business checks is the checks on top. You can have one or two signatures lines if needed and order higher security checks for more protection. Some companies use different banks as well, and having different color for that can prevent from making an accounting mistake.

I was looking to see where i can find a huge variety of business checks and i found one place. They offer 3 different security styles, but so many colors/options per security style they offer. Not to include the one write business checks. I usually find a few colors or a few options. I came upon this by looking through the business checks companies that are out there.
One thing i was very impressed with was how quickly that i was able to get in contact with a representative that could show me the differences. The order process was very easy and not hard like other companies are. The order was shipped the next business day. I was expecting it to take longer, but the i received
a notification of it being shipped. It was odd to find a small company that offers so much in service and variety with low prices. Never thought I could find over 50 different variety of checks.
Have you checked your prices vs your competition? I know a company that hasnt changed their prices in years, but always offers the best service along with their prices and has always been the same. I’ve ordered over 12 times and each time is correct and quick with their service and delivery. They use FedEx vs UPS as its cheaper and when i receive the box its always clean.
With the economy in the shape it is in now. Sometimes we all need to adjust the prices of our merchandise that comes along with the service. A small price increase wont hurt anything and it wont hurt your business as well. If you offer great service, quality, reliable, dependable, and honest business. It will pay off in the long run. But keep in mind, that with business checks. Their wont be much change in the prices every day or month. Paper prices are going up and every business has to compensate somewhere to keep their business going to cover payroll, expenses and anything else they need to pay. Slow price increase is better than a large increase. Remember that if you order peachtree business checks, they it comes in several styles.

Its always good to have a back up plan in case something happens. Recently I was contacted by my bank that I had a fraud transaction that had taken place with my business debit card. I called Authorize.net and had them to change my merchant processor. That way any other credit card transactions that took place, would go to the other checking account.
I thought about closing the other account out, but it was a great idea that I’ve always have had in place. It could of taken a few days if i called to have the account number changed, so it was just easier to call authorize.net and be done with it, then change back when your done with the fraud. Fraud can happen to anyone that has a personal or business checking account. Just keep track of your quickbooks business checks that has cleared your bank and check on line for any transactions that has taken place that you don’t recognize and report it to your bank.
Shopping around for business checks can be challenging unless you know what your looking for. Business checks are available in several different types of styles and alot of colors. Most popular style is the Marble. There are other styles that offer higher security like the Prismatic Cube. That is available in 2 different colors, but its blue/green or blue/burgundy. the colors runs from one side to the other. Making sure your business information for your customers is always up to date. Failure to do so can result in customer complaints, customer service problems, and potential of losing customers. Information online for a product, or services you offer is taken seriously, and can be used for legal stuff. There was an instance i ran into with a bank.
I was told the onsite check deposit cut off time was 8pm. I had placed the deposit around 7:30pm. Come to find out, the same day deposit is 7pm and the onsite check deposit wouldn’t be processed till next day. Well come to find out, they are changing the cut off time next month till 9PM for same day deposit. Wow…that was alot to go though and could of caused me problems with the checking account, but it didnt. When your deposing business checks, or personal checks, its always important to make sure everything is correct and the deposit reconciles with your accounting program. Keeping information updated is very urgent for any business.
