What do you do when your business is slow and you have free time? As a good recommendations theirs alot of things you can do. Keeping your business clean helps to keep everything organized and customer friendly looking. If your working in the warehouse, clean up the floor and any excess papers that isnt needed. Process inventory and make sure the records are correct. Replacing light bulbs with energy efficient bulbs. Wipe down and get as much dust off of the computers/printers.
If your in the accounting office, see if you have enough Peachtree checks and envelopes. Reconcile your accounts and get everything updated. Paybills so you’ll have less to worry about. If its too slow for the business, and some of your employees have vacation time, allow them to use it if needed. Making the company look good will always help to make the business run efficiently in all areas.

Dont you feel good when you are able to help others? How about helping out small business? Offer a one time order discount, discount shipping, or something like that. If a natural disaster happens, and even though you have insurance for your business, why not help them to expiate their order free of charge. Its all about customer service and going beyond your expectations.
Customer service is really what makes up the company and people will begin to talk about it easily. If you did something spectacular for that company, you can be assured that you’ll have a repeat customer for sure. I did that for a company that was in business for 4 years, and someone broke in, and took their computers and checks. The company called me and asked me what i could do. I told them they just need to re-order the cheap business checks, and the order was to be shipped ground. I shipped them 2nd day air. If it was ground, it would of taken them 5 days to receive the order. They needed help to get back up and running from the vandals.
We all have shopping cart problems, but when to fix it is the question.

When your running a retail store, alot of things can happen. What if you lost some good employees, but gained new employees that wasn’t that good of a worker. You could see an impact on your sales and it will hit your checkbooks. What about if it was your online store? Its always good when your company makes extra money and you don’t want to spend it. But the best thing about a business is this. What is your expense to income ratio. Just like on your credit report. The better the report is, more likely someone will give you the credit you deserve. Keeping your business out of debt makes your company smoother to run.
Using your bulk blank checks to create your own business checks, is another unique idea. That way, you can design it for your company. Paying cash and not worrying about paying on credit cards, will save you money in the long run. No interest, or late payments. Yes, those can be as a tax write off, but if you pay cash for your purchases, you’ll have more money in the long run. Buy only what you need. Do you want higher profits for your business? Its very easy to do. If your have an online store, or a regular store, a few things that can make a huge difference. The average consumer spends about 3 minuets on a website. Make sure you have everything in stock, and every now and then, run sales/specials. If your an online store, exceed your customers expectations. Have the order to be shipped same or by the next business day. Sneak in the box, some coupons that the customer can use at a later point. Little things really make a big difference. Having your accounting up to date, and if you need to order cheap business checks, make sure you have extra on hand. Never know when you may need to use extra in a short time frame.
Adding more security to protect your investment is always an good idea. What if you didn’t have insurance? What if you didn’t have a security system installed? OOOpppss….that’s a bad idea. Is your website business protected? You should be able to answer, YES it is. Do you have the SSL on your check out where your customers inters their credit card? Should be able to say yes, because its required, or you could be fined. Some of the things you can look for that makes a business on line liget is, look for the SSL, are they Authorize.net authorized, how long have they been in business? Or you can even call the business and they can show you on the site.
By placing orders online, for online cheap business checks, you need to make sure your business is protected against hackers, and or someone that wants to hurt your business. Always update your security features, and how you accept credit card. Allot of companies accept debit/credit cards over the phone, but its not recommend because it will open the business up for liability and security reasons. What if the other person writes it down and uses it against you.

Organize your business with multiple checking accounts. Its good to have your business organized. That way, everything is smooth running and easy to follow. With an online business, its good to have your main operations account, tax account, savings account, and tax account. Having multiple business checking accounts helps you to make sure certin things are being paid and on time
Peachtree Quantum, uses the checks in middle. Peachtree checks are easy to use and you can select up to four different templates to select from. Peachtree is really awesome about letting you know the true numbers for your accounting. Inventory control is really remarkable and easy to use. You will get the exact amount you made, vs quickbooks, that will give you an average. Your running a honest business….so why not have a honest accounting system in place.
We all need to back up data and make sure its protected. What if a fire broke out, and destroyed your computer? What kind of back up plan do you have. A good idea is to have it stored off-site, portable hard-drive, and or back it up to a cd/dvd. Having a back up for everything is a good idea. On the back up, have pictures of your inventory, computer, serial number, model number, and any receipts.
If your business had a fire and needed to order more business checks, you’ll be able to tell what was the last check number you ordered. Same way with your insurance documents as well. Being one step ahead of your business keeps everything in smooth operation.
