What is preprinted business checks?

I have been asked all the time, what is a preprinted busienss check? These checks are preprinted with your company and bank information. You can use your accounting software to print the “Pay to” and “amount” data. The Preprinted business checks are desinged for your software and is ideal for any printing ina low or high volume of checks.

Their are two different types that is most popular. It is the check on top and check in middle. Check on top is more for quickbooks business checks, where as checks in middle is for peachtree and other accounting programs. They are available in so many styles and colors, with different security features. Each check, must be check 21 compliance by law.

1. Sign up for gValidate membership, Login and click validate.

2. Monitor your bank statment for the $0.01 transaction from gValidate processing” and note the check number

3. Log back into the account, and click on Activate Link to enter your check number that had cleared for $0.01

Do you realize that someone can open your mail box and get the checks your mailing out if your not there and order checks on line. Then they will receive the checks, and write it against your account. Best thing is to make sure if your ordering online, to make sure the company secures your order information. Most will not call and verify the new check order, but some do, and those are the companies that is best to use.

Most of us enjoy shopping and we always want to make sure we receive the right product. Its easy to make a mistake and then have to return back to the store and swap it out. or get a refund. If the customers mail a business check, make sure you hold the check to ensure its a good check. After it clears then ship the product to the customer. I enjoy shopping and looking around to see what the best deals i can get. Im opening up a new store that will be a brick n mortar store, and ecommerce store as well. I was looking around today to find the best deals on business checks that i can get. I found free shipping, 15% off, and if your order was more than $200, get a free visa gift card. I called to find out what their process was and come to find out. I could receive the checks by the end of the week.

Shopping for business checks is something that you’ll need guidance through if its the first time shopping. I had no idea that their was so many colors, styles, choices and variety that was out there. Having someone to guide me through the process was amazing. Happy Holidays to your business and family. We hope you have had a great year with your business and family. Its great to work with the people that we do, as we consider them part of our family as well. Small business really does make a difference with our economy and adds more personalization to each customer and order.

Sharing the holidays with our family and friends is always a great thing to have and offer. Even though alot of people have lost their jobs, and more. Their are still good people that is willing to help others that is in need. Small companies have a website and automate alot of things. But each order is done manually, and i know of a company that take great pride to make sure your order is correct. Having trust in a company that helps you and making sure they do the right job, makes your business unique to each of us. At the end of the year, we all need to know what our business profit, and expenses are. They need to be broken down into different catagories. If you use Peachtree or Quickbooks, it will work great. Their is a difference between the programs. They both can be specific for your business type, and their is a huge difference with the inventory.

Peachtree will offer you FIFO and LIFO and give you an accurate amount of your profit or loss. Quickbooks will give you the average. Its just the way they work. Make sure you enter every thing you spend or income so it will be easy on your accountant, and doing taxes. Towards the end of the year, its always good to go-ahead and order any supplies, or business checks you need so it can be written off for the current year.

How do you keep track of everything your doing with your business? Are you using quickbooks, or peachtree? Well one thing is that when your doing a “charge item”, make sure your keeping track of how many times you are charging for a service your company is providing. Keeping track will help you if you need to replace that hardware.

A charge for color printing is always going to be a “charge item.” Keeping track of how often you charge and use it will help you to determine if you need to upgrade or expand more equipment. A company that converts bulk blank business checks into a usable business checks that has a color logo printed, and keeping track of a charge item is always important to the customers. Usually you can charge a flat fee, or per qty based.

During the hard economic times. Its always good to try to give back to our community and help others. Its bad to hear that the government will help those in need, but wont help as much with our veterans. USA use to be a country we all were proud of and glad to be from. We are taking care of others, instead of our own. We don’t have enough money for medicare/medicare, but yet, we give millions to other countries.

Having a business this day in time is hard enough. But today, I’ll be glad to get some gift certificates from walmart and give them to a few vets that really needs help. Another idea that i’ll be glad to do is offer free shipping on all American Flag business checks. The American Flag checks will say alot by its self. As a nation. We all need to work together better and help those that are really in need, and quit being so greedy.

Change your payment methods when doing large business quotes

Its really exciting when your business gets new customers, but with a large quote. I had sent a quote to the customer, but due to the dollar amount. I had to make some changes. She got a great deal, but I had to be careful as well. I accept all form of payments through my website. But since this was a huge order. I had to change it. I will only accept a check or wire transfer.

If you ever have a charge back, but you sent the customer the product. Take the order amount, and double it. You lost the product, plus the order. You wouldnt want to take the risk on a huge order. Never send out a order with out receiving the payment in full. If its a check, it will take 5-10 days to clear. If its a wire transfer, then it will be right away you’ll receive the money. If you purchase more qty in the long run, the cheaper it will be, just like for cheap business checks. You can always email or call the business and find out what is going to be the best deal.

Ok, we all have heard of the biggest banks in America be sneaky about their bank fees. They have dropped the debit card fees and others. Well guess what? They are going to find another way to get the money they will loose with the frank dodd act that has been in place just over a month now. If your in a contract with your current merchant account, how can you change the funds to a different bank or credit union?

Just call your merchant provider customer service, and ask to have your deposits to be changed to a different account. They will ask for the routing number and account number. It can take 24-48 hrs for the change to take place, but at least you can change banks with out a contract. When you change banks, you can order bulk blank checks and imprint your own business checks, but you’ll need the right program, printer, and MICR toner as well to be in compliance with the banks. As always, if your not sure about something, always call and ask to be on the safe side.

With the banks cutting the debit card fees is making alot of consumers happy. The major banks have heard us and has listened. Bank of America has finally decided to pull the $5 a mth card fee. They were the last major bank of doing that. But, even though the major banks have canceled the fee. They will find another way to get the money made up one way or another.

Make sure when or if you do switch to a new bank, that you ask as many questions about their fees as possible and read the Disclosure booklet first before agreeing to anything. When your getting a new account setup. Make sure all of your business checks has cleared the old bank before closing it out. Same way with any of the debit card transactions. Dont want to have any NSF fees.

Today in the news. They were talking about Bank of America and Wells Fargo Bank with customer service. They had won the best customer service award. Problem resolution is an issue industry-wide. Bank of America, Chase, and Wells Fargo were statistically tied with 64%, 66%, and 64% of customers’ issues resolved on the customer service call, while 57% of Citi customers surveyed reported their problems were solved with their customer service.

Offer the best and your brand and company will stand out. Who would want to do business with someone that wont help you. When your ordering business checks, you’ll have questions, like: what is your shipping policy? Do you offer a proof or samples? What happens if i order the wrong product? I cant get my debit/credit card to go through? Helping with the most important part of your business and being nice, friendly, and helpful will go along way. So….do what is right and help others.
