When needing to order more business checks you have options, go into your local bank or you can order then from the convience of your own home! You can oder checks online and there are several benifits to doing so.

One of the assets to ordering online is first and foremost its cheaper, secondly it is way faster then having to get in your car and drive to the back, then wait in line to deal with a cranky teenager behind the desk who may or may not be able to help you out will all your needs. And thirdly when ordering online you have a lot more options open to you, such as adding your logo to the checks, and choosing the font, and even having extra security.

Gold hits 5-month high above $1200

By Blake Ellis, staff reporterMay 6, 2010: 3:46 PM ET

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Gold surged past the psychologically significant $1,200 mark on Thursday as stock markets plummeted and investors sought a safe haven.

What prices are doing: Gold for June delivery settled up $22.30, or nearly 2%, at $1,197.30 an ounce but climbed above $1,200 after its settlement, hitting the highest level since Dec. 4.

What’s moving the market: Investors flocked to safer investments like gold on Thursday as concerns about Greece’s debt persisted and markets tumbled.

The Dow plunged nearly 1,000 points in afternoon trading Thursday. Before this drop, stocks were all lower as investors worried that Greece’s debt problems could spread to other euro zone countries.

“You have strong investment demand for gold as a safe haven to hedge against what has been happening in Greece and other European countries,” said Carlos Sanchez, a precious metals analyst at CPM Group.

Sanchez said Greece’s problems have caused a ripple effect in the markets, and that gold has been climbing as stocks fall and the dollar heads higher.

“If this break above $1,200 holds, we may see follow-through buying and may see prices pushed toward last year’s high of $1,230 because of such high investment demand,” he said.  Business checks are used to help with buying Gold across the nation.

Wachovia and Wells Faro Merchant Services information

I have a merchant account with Wachovia. They have it with a outside source called Elevaon. They had a contract agreement that if you signed up, you’ll have your funds in your acct next day. For the state of Georgia, Wachovia will become Wells Fargo. Come to find out, that if you have a contract with Elevon, you cant swap over to Wells Fargo for at least for a year per the contractual agreement.

I have moved all of my business accounts to another bank, that have their own merchant services. If your print your own checks, you can order bulk blank checks for your business needs. If your under a contract, see if your new merchant will buy out the contact. Some will do that, and you’ll be able to get a good deal overall, and with better fees as well.

Stocks pummeled on debt worries

By Alexandra Twin, senior writerMay 4, 2010: 6:07 PM ET

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Stocks tumbled Tuesday on worries that the global recovery could suffer if Europe’s efforts to contain Greece’s debt problems don’t succeed, and if China’s efforts to slow its booming economy go too far.

Bond prices rallied, lowering the corresponding yields, as investors sought the comparative safety of government debt. The euro fell to a new yearly low versus the dollar, pummeling dollar-traded energy prices and stocks.

The Dow Jones industrial average (INDU) slumped 225 points, after having fallen as much as 282 points earlier. The decline, equivalent to 2%, was the average’s biggest one-day point drop since February 4. The S&P 500 index (SPX) lost 29 points, or 2.4%. The Nasdaq composite (COMP) fell 74 points, or 3%.

“We’re realizing that Greece’s problems are not going to go away and that China has to slow growth down,” said Drew Kanaly, CEO and chairman at Kanaly Trust. “These issues are giving us a view into our own future if we keep piling up debt.” Business checks are used in alot of transactions every day.

He said that markets are worried about how the U.S. will balance growth with inflationary risks, and what the impact of the growing deficit will mean. The ongoing impact from the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico on commodities was also a factor, he said.

The broad worries were reflected by the spike in the CBOE Volatility index (VIX), or the VIX, Wall-Street’s so-called fear gauge. The VIX jumped 18%, briefly topping its highest point since Feb. 10 before pulling back a bit.

Rainy days impact everyone from being sleepy on a personal level, to either making sales slow or increase. If your business is slow, why not have your employees to clean up the office, wipe down electronics, dust, vacuum, mop and see if you need to order any business checks. Keeping your office in top shape, helps your company to be successful. If your not organized, your going to waste time, that is money on finding what you need.

Your warehouse is just like the office. Keep it organized. Do inventory, so you’ll know what you need to order or put on clearance. Get the negative stuff off of your books, and add more that will be successful for your business. Doing small things will make a huge impact on your company.

April sales were slow

If your april sales was slow, well blame that on several factors. The economy was one of them, when in the beginning of the month, we had Easter. Sales does slow down around all holidays. Next was the tax season. Personal and business taxes was due to be filed by April 15th. That had put alot of companies on slow down of buying alot of products as taxes was more urgent and important.

Since tax season is very urgent for everyone, alot of business slowed down with their sales. Everyone i talked to was having hardly any sales and half the amount of internet traffic. May should bring alot of new sales. Since the sales are down, why not offer incentives and discounts if the customer buys mulit products. Offer business checks and if they buy certain amount of checks, give them a box of envelopes free. Use that idea or something comparable like that.
