Happy Memorial Day to everyone that has served our country through thick and thin. Today has been a blessed day, and a hard day on others. Days like this is why we are happy to celebrate it and tell the people that has served us “Thank You”. If we didn’t have our veterans, just imagine what kind of mess that the USA would be in.

I had a special order for my business. A customer wanted to place 2 orders. One with the American Flag and Flags onto his business checks. I said, YES we can get them and we’ll be happy to do the order.

Checks in middle is popular to use with Peachtree

Yes you can alter the type of the checks to use with peachtree, but most popular is the checks in the middle. Their is 4 different type of peachtree business checks styles. If your not sure what you like. Do a dummy check on plain paper to see what style you like. You can change it in the peachtree setting to see what you like, and is best for your company.

I was asked, well…..what about the check color. That doesn’t matter, but make sure that your checks are printed with MICR toner, to make sure its in compliance with the bank, and it will be processed with out a problem. If you use the regular ink, the bank cant process the check, and will have to do it manually instead. That could cost you more money and fees.

Cheap business checks is very easy to find for your business needs. It dont matter if you need it for peachtree, quickbooks or any other accounting program. In your search bar, type in cheap business checks. You’ll see a list of the sites that offers that product. Look around and see what kind of prices they offer. For 250 checks, is average around $35-50.

Cheap business checks should be available in a wide variety of colors. Dont forget to provide all the information they need so you can have your order correct. Delay in providing that information can delay your order easily. Business checks should always be check to make sure they are correct, or you will be liable for the mistakes.

Better Business Management

When I first opened my restaurant 13 years ago, I was in it for one thing: the food. I realized that running a business would require a variety of skills and logical thinking, but I wanted my main focus to be on the quality of the cuisine I prepared for my patrons. After a few months however, it became apparent that I would have to spend just as much— if not more—time on the business side as the cooking side.

Over the years, I have implemented a variety of tools to help streamline the business processes and eliminate the time I spend on administrative duties. One of the most indispensable of these instruments is my accounting software. Instead of keeping a large ledger with all of my business transactions, the software does most of the work for me and even helps manage the payroll.

Slow times with the economy will allow you to clean up your site and add more options for your business. Alot of business sales have been down during the past few months. One guy had told me, he was going to make some good changes to his online store. I asked him, like what? He said, he was going to re-design the store front, banner, pictures, text and find more products to add. He did mention that since times are slow, why not allow the customers to make payment using their business checks to make the purchase on the site.

I thought about that, and yes thats a good idea, but you’ll have to wait for the funds to clear first before the order will be shipped. As another recommendation, I had advised him to add new products that customers will be needing, not wanting to make more profit. Great idea. Another idea i had is IF the customer was a repeat, offer a NET 30, and they can use their quickbooks business checks or peachtree checks to make the payment to me via regular mail. That way, when you deposit it, it will go through quicker vs waiting 7 days.

How easy it for you to order business checks?

Is it easy for you to order business checks? Does your office manager or your accountant order them for you? Hopefully you can answer yes to both of those questions. Ordering business checks is very easy to do especially if you use over 5000 checks a month. How can you do that? Find a company that offers high quality checks at low prices, and easy re-order section. Does that company have all of your info on file from your first order? Most will say YES.

Go to the company, look for RE-ORDER and put in the information as required. Once the order is placed, you should receive a proof, and they can ship same or next business day more than likely. Thats the company that i’ll use for sure then. Low prices, quality work, fast response, no problems from the previous orders.

Do you want to save time and money depositing business checks?. Do you receive a lot of checks in the mail or over the counter to pay on bills/invoices from your customers or vendors? Going to and from the bank will add up with gas cost, and time away from the office that you could be doing something else to hep your customers. Receiving checks is always good, but theirs always another way of saving time and money.

Check with your bank, and see if they offer a RDC (remote deposit capture) or Online Deposit. It will consist of a small monthly fee, for the services, and some bank will supply you with the Check device. How does it work? You receive a check in the mail or over the counter, you log into your program (provided by the bank), and put the checks through the check device (your bank will tell you what to use), and then when your finish with the checks, add it up, and your done. Most banks if batched by 7 pm, you’ll have the deposit in your account next day. You can use it with personal checks, and business checks. The devices will accept quickbook checks (checks on top), or peachtree business checks (checks in middle). Its very easy to use, and simple, and this way, you’ll be able to save time and money. I use it, and since my bank is a few miles not to mention the time sitting at the red lights. Go for it…..it will pay for its self easily.

I dont know about you but for me it is very aggravating when I am out of checks and I go to the back to order them and then they tell me it will be 5 days before I will receive them. Also they are so expensive, but there are option on how to get cheap checks fast.

Did you know that you have to option of ordering your checks and getting then with in 2 to 3 days? Well you can and not only that but you can also put so much detail on your checks. You can add your own business logo on it and you can even have extra security on your checks as to having void appear on your checks when someone tries to make a copy. Also you can even have a personal message on your checks to make it more personable to the recipient of the check.

Did you know that instead of going through your bank to order quickbooks business checks, that you can do it online. YEA you can and its cheaper than doing it through the bank. The bank will charge you at least $75 for 250, where you can can order quickbooks business checks online for at least $35.

You can have more options than the bank can give you. The bank will only give you 4 colors, and online you can find up to 16 colors/styles, and even have your business logo to be printed with your checks free. You can even customize them more to your accounting needs. Re-ordering is very easy and more simple. So….why not order online instead. Save money and time.

Banking Made Easy

A few months ago, the Bank of America in my community installed new ATM machines that allow for paperless transactions. This means that there is no need for envelopes or deposit slips when you want to put in funds. While this is certainly convenient, especially for my personal accounts, I would prefer to have a paper trail when it comes to my business・accounting.

In order to monitor all of the company’s transactions thoroughly, I still use deposit slips every time I put money into the account. However, I keep the deposit slip for myself, serving as a receipt of the transaction. This allows me to keep accurate books on my own and gives me some ammunition if I ever need to dispute a transaction on my account.
