A Winning Business Plan

The key to success in any business is developing a solid business plan and implementing it. Like most ventures in life, running a business tends to have many expenditures that you don’t anticipate. All business owners prepare for payroll, taxes and their lease, but it tends to be the small things that catch up with you.

When I started my first company over a decade ago, we were destined for failure. I hadn’t taken into account all of the peripheral costs of running a business, like insurance, business supplies, travel, etc. After several failed attempts, I have finally developed a thriving enterprise, thanks in large part to my budgeting and seeking out thrifty options, like cheap business checks.

Protect your business in every way possible

Security of a business is very important, that alot of people have for got until its too late. One thing that I’ve noticed is that, alot of fraud order has been tried with my company from the USA, but mostly from other countries. Being able to track every order is a very good thing to do. If you have an on line business, get an live help program, that you can use the HTML codes to track and see every customer that hits your site. If they come in from a nother country, you should be able to block their IP address, through a certain range.

Verifying questionable order is another good thing. Just like business checks for quickbooks, you must have the right kind of security to protect your investment and business. Make sure you know every transaction coming and going. If you have to, start using a Purchase order and have it to be approved first. Little things can make a big help with your company

Auto sales: Good end to terrible year

The auto industry ended its worst year in memory with one of its best sales months of the year.

Overall industrywide U.S. sales soared 15% compared to a year ago, the biggest percentage gain since July 2005. Total sales topped the 1 million mark for only the second time this year, trailing only August. Sales spiked that month thanks to the federal government’s Cash for Clunkers program. With a good end, alot of business used a business check to pay for their companies new vehicle.

Most of the automakers posted better than expected results as five of the seven largest automakers reported increases of 18% or more from a year earlier.

But the boom in December wasn’t enough to lift the industry out of its year-long slump. Last year was a tumultuous one for the industry to say the least as GM and Chrysler filed for bankruptcy and many auto plants and dealerships closed.

Full-year sales fell 21% from 2008 to 10.4 million, a 27-year low. Last year’s sales are also far below the 16.7 million annual average during the 10 years before the start of the recession.

Small business lending begins to rebound

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) — Small businesses are still struggling to find financing, but for those seeking government-backed loans, the worst may be over. The Small Business Administration’s flagship lending program backed 37% more loans in its latest quarter than it did a year ago, at the height of the financial crisis. This is good for banks because they are issuing more business checking accounts. With business checks, passing through, it will help the economy one by one.

In the three months ended Dec. 31, the SBA’s 7(a) lending program processed 12,393 loans totaling $3.8 billion, according to preliminary data released Monday by the agency. That’s a sharp increase from the 9,070 loans, totaling $1.9 billion, processed in the year-earlier quarter.
