Chooing between UPS and FEDEx can be challenging. What kind of merchandise do you want to ship? Call both carriers and see what kind of deal you’ll be able to get with them. I know for a fact that with UPS, you’ll be able to get a discount, but it will be based upon how much you’ll do weekly. If you can maintain the dollar amount, you’ll be able to keep that incentitive. The shipping rates for UPS and Fed ex has gone up starting beginning of Jan 2010. The higher dollar amount, the better deal you can get.

Thats just some of the stuff. Go to fed ex and ups and see how they handle packages. UPS does throw boxes, pitch and etc…that can cause damaged to the packages. FED ex isnt allowed to do that, or the employee will have discipline action on them. Fed ex does handle the packages better from what i’ve seen. One huge thing is that fed ex gets the packages to the customers one day faster. That is important if your ordering cheap business checks.
