versacheck

When I quit my old job and started working from home, the difference was somewhat overwhelming. All of a sudden, it was up to me – the sole employee of my own business – to perform tasks that otherwise would have been delegated to someone with more expertise. Prior to that point I had never done much accounting beyond some limited experience with QuickBooks.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that VersaCheck software helped me to create checks for my business as well as balancing my earnings and expenses. It’s truly the next best thing to hiring an accountant, and in a way it’s much better because VersaCheck doesn’t need to be paid every two weeks. I’ve been able to cut costs this way, and that’s always a bonus for a business-savvy entrepreneur.

When your ordering checks, dont forget to order you deposit slips. Quickbooks can fill out the deposit slips for your automatically. Just put in the information you need to print, and it will do the rest for you. Go to the bank, and give it to the teller, or put it into the overnight deposit slot. Its very easy to do.

One other easy way to save time and money, is to have Online Deposit Capture system. All that is, a device that reads your customers checks, and it will create an online deposit ticket for your business and the funds will be deposited into your business checking account overnight. Just check with your bank. You can have a professional company to print your quickbooks deposit slips, or do it your self. Just order the blank deposit slips.

QUESTION: A few months after I became a supervisor, my manager “wrote me up” because of conflicts with my employees. These people used to be my peers, and they were upset when I was promoted. Since then, my boss and I have bumped heads over several other issues.

She says I can’t take feedback, which is true. I’m currently working on that, because I really want to succeed in this job. You can also buy cheap business checks that has your business color logo imprinted onto the check as well. That will impress anyone that sees your business checks.

Before my promotion, I was regarded as an outstanding performer. I still have the same strong work ethic, and I’m always looking for new ways to be the best.

However, I feel that management now doubts my abilities. I would like to be considered for future opportunities, but I don’t know if anyone will trust me to handle more responsibility. How do I recover from these recent setbacks?

Usually from November though end of January, you can find some good online deals with discounts or free shipping. If your favorite company you like to shop with, dont offer a disscount, call and ask them if you would be able to give you some sort of discount. Your more than likely to get an offer because this is the time of the year that most companies will make their profit for the year.

Look for the coupons in the mail, on line newsletters, or on their shopping cart on line for the deals. Some will be limited to the hot items or the prices for the item. If your looking cheap business checks, the prices should always be good, but offer quality service. You can get a better deal if the check company offers you discounts after you make so many purchases with them.

Don’t let your business checks get too low on stock. Do you want to save more money? Don’t wait till you run almost dry and have to place a emergency order. You’ll pay alot more extra for overnight shipping, or rush charges. Always keep an eye on how many checks you have. If you run low, place a order.

By ordering early, will keep your business cost down. When the economy is hard as it is, savings is a big deal for everyone and is crucial. Buying more can save you more as well. If you order one pack (500 qty), can cost 54.50 printed that equals to $0.11 per check, vs buying 3000 for 245.70 that equals to $0.08 per check.

October 2009 Update

Changes to 2009 Form W-2 instructions
In April, 2009 the IRS announced a change to the 2009 Form W-2 instructions printed on the back of Copy B, Notice to Employee. Language in the second paragraph was updated to include new qualifying amounts for the Earned Income Credit. However, the IRS did not update the official form to incorporate this change.

As your provider of W-2 and 1099 forms, we have updated our paper and electronic documents to include the new Form W-2 instructions. You can be certain that all 2009 W-2 forms you receive from us will reflect the most current language.

To review the official IRS notice on this issue please visit the IRS website and view the April 21, 2009 posting entitled Notice – Change to earned income amounts on 2009 Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement. http://www.irs.gov/formspubs/article/0,,id=109875,00.html

We hope this information is helpful to you.

don’t add products that isnt relevant to your business

Did you hear that walmart is now selling Caskets and Urns? Yep, its true. Its not available in the store, but it is on their website. Walmart is known for its huge stores and can sell almost everything a small town can offer. I can understand why what Walmart wants to sell those items to help everyone out, but the Caskets isnt even relevant to what walmart sells though.

Alot of people are really commenting on this idea they had. If Sam Walton was still living…he wouldn’t have Walmart to sell that item. He wanted things only made and sold in the USA. Walmart has really gotten away from that idea.

So….if your selling business checks…why sell cars? Its not relevant. Your website or store should only have products that will make your business or home work like you want it to. Business checks, deposit slips, and envelopes is what helps your accounting dept to be functional along with the software.

Forrester Research came out with a survey Monday, which said that online retailers will see an 8% increase in sales since last year, so its a good time to begin to order extra inventory. Having extra inventory on hand will allow you to ship the item same day and exceed your customers expectations. If your going to order more inventory, make sure you have enough business checks for payroll as well.

Having more inventory and if you hire temporary workers for the holiday season, you would need to order more cheap business checks. Order extra so you wont run out. Having a good business plan in tack for the holdays, is always a smart business move. The smoother and easier you can operate the business, the more profitable you’ll be and less holiday stress.
