Have you opened up a new checking account? What starting check number did you start off with? If you answered yes a new checking account, or an existing acct, heres some information you need to know about. When you select a check # to use, you can only go forward with it. Example. If you started with check # 501, and you have reached to 3000, and you wanted to start off again with a low check #, you get back to 501, the bank will reject the check.
The bank will reject the check because its already been used once. When a customer orders from you, its always a good idea to make sure they havent ordered from you before and want to start with a low number. So….they can only go foward with the check number, OR if they want to go back to a low check number, to open a new acct and start over again. Its the rull for all banks and for alot of other reasons. This is for business checks and personal accounts as well. No exceptions.
