Using Peachtree Quantum, it will help you to maintain the minimun amount of invetory you need for each item. You tell the Peachtree quantum what is your min amout you need, and it will remind you to re-order with a new PO for that item. You do have a Purchase Order Filter

The Purchase Order filter will alow you to order by item type, item id, vendor ID, or buyer ID. You can even filter by the Stock, assembly, non stock, service, labor. Displays by qty available, or on hand. You can set order quantty for 4 othe areas. as well. Keeping your inventory available for your customers is very important.
