Their are alot of programs out there that can do the same thing? That is payroll and accounting. Accounting in general overall though. Theirs alot of variety in accounting, from keeping up with assets of how much stock has along with the employess, to the inventory, to the satellite locations.
Bottom line, we all need to have the busines checks to be what the company wants. So many ways of doing a business check (payroll), that even though you found a good company to do your checks, they may need some guidance on waht your looking fo Just call the company to see if they can match what you want. Some orders may need to be customized.

I was asked a good question that happens every day. The question is….what happens to bad checking accounts? Another words, accounts that have been overdrawn for a long period of time, and went to collections, then charge off?
For business checks, and personal checks, is the same thing. If your account goes into a neg balance, and isnt back to $0.00, your bank will notify you first, and then the account will be closed. The recovery department will try to recover the owed debt usually with in 60-90 days. If its still not paid off, it will be charged off, and can be reported to Chex systems. If you open a new checking account somewhere else, it will show up and prevent you from opening that new checking account. So….its important that you keep your checking account to a positive balance at all times. If you hit a hard time with your account, have your savings account tied into your main checking account. It will save you a headache for sure.
What does the Peachtree Deposit slips look like? The peachtree deposit slips are very simple and easy to use. Each of the peachtree software programs has the features to use the deposit slips.
Peachtree makes it very easy to assign a deposit ticket to a assigned deposit. You could do it for the day, or certin orders. Either way, it will still work with how you do accounting.

How has the economy affected your business? Even though the economy is not doing too good for the larger businesses. The small business are feeling the pinch, but not like the bigger guys. Some of the small business are actually doing well. Its a matter of how you run your business. The main focus how your business is doing, depens on your accounting department, and how your using the business checks.
Walmart has a very sophisticated system for their accounting and inventory level. Every few min, the stores sytem updates to the mainframe computer system. It will tell the main office, what the inventory level is for that store and how many has sold. Once it gets low, its automatically ordered from the warehouse and shipped to the store. Once the warehouse gets low, it could be pulled from other warhouses or be on order from the vendor.
The better you maintin the accounting, have low prices, everything in stock, and offer good customer service, you’ll succed easily.
Are you starting a new business? It takes alot to get a business going. Most important thing is to get a business plan going. Have a very good detailed outline and follow though. Establishing a business with the right industry can be a challange
Once a business plan is done. Start small with a business checks and deposit slips. They will come in handy. Wheather your a ecommernce business owner, or a brick and morter store, you still need to have some place to put your monies into. Then do some testing on what kind of accounting program you’ll need.
When your buying business checks, you want to make sure that you have good secrutiy features. Having good security features helps to protect your busines more from the fraud checks.
Some of the security featuers you can look for is this
- Warning Box-Area on the check border that lists the security features included for quick verification
- Void Pantograph- Displays when checks are photocopied or scanned on most machines
- Micro printing- Text is printed at 1/100 of an inch so it appears as a line, but can be verified when a magnifying glass. If scanned or photocopied, the line would be solid
- Artificial watermark- A watermark image is printed on the paper and is visible when viewed at an angle
- Security screen- Light grey printing that is on back disappears when photocopied
- Padlock Icon- Alerts to security features on the back.
Every software company has its date of the year for software upgrades, or new versions. Peachtree usually has its new software release in the 2nd quarter of the yr. Being up to date on your accounting software can save your company money.
If you not up to date on your software, and you have payroll, it could cost extra money. Its important to do what is right with your accounting software. If we didn’t have our accounting programs, operations of the business would be alot more complex and not that organized.
When you own a business, its always a good to offer the best customer service that you can. If you have a customer that always comes back to you, why not offer them a business check (rebate) unexpected as a THANK YOU.
Taking care of your customers will always take care of you. Its about taking time out for your customers, listnting to them, and appreciate them. Theirs alot of comapnies that will give you small amount of savings here and there…but not have that great service. Its rare to find a business that will listen, and take care of you, regardless of how much you buy, with out joining a program.
An accounting software analyst is having a hard time sleeping and goes to see his doctor. “Doctor, I just can’t get to sleep at night.” “Have you tried counting sheep?” “That’s the problem – I make a mistake and then spend three hours trying to find it.”

- Checks in middle- Check in middle, and a stub on top and bottom
- Full page of checks- 3 Checks to a page, NO STUBS
- EDC- Executive check book, is 3 to a page in a binder with deposit reg
- CDC-Compact Desk book is personal size in a binder with stubs beside check
- Check on Bottom-Check on bottom and 2 stubs above the check.
Those are the most common business checks that are out their to use. If you ordered the wrong style, you will be liable for the mistake and that can cost your company money and are non-refundable.
Peachtree saying serial number in use

I am receiving Serial Number in use or Another Peachtree user is using the same serial number when attempting to open my company. How can I correct this?
Make sure that you have installed the latest service release(s). To verify the release of Peachtree installed, select About Peachtree Accounting from the Help menu in Peachtree. If you have an internet connection, you can select Check for Updates from the Services menu in Peachtree to check for the latest online update. You can do this for all peachtree software.

What is the best way of paying taxes? Their are self employment tax, state tax, federal tax, and so many others. The best way a company to be organized is to use business checks. Business checks are very easy to use, and is cheaper than letting your company use credit card for processing payments over the phone or any other way.
Business checks are availble in so many variety, styles and colors. Have a seperate checking account for your taxes, so it would be easier to track for the month, or yearly. We all hate taxes, but we do need them to keep the economy going.
