Want to save more money on business expenses
Purchasing bulk blank checks can really save company money. Instead of outsourcing your checks to be printed, why not imprint the checks yourself. Imprint orders are good if you don’t have the equipment. A lot is involved for a company to make a check for your business. Here’s what they have to do.
There are some companies that can do all that in a few days, but if you need your checks right away, you could do them yourself. Having a company to supply you with the bulk blank checks are the best way to help you save money. Don’t have to have the hassle of paying someone else to imprint your order, OR making a mistake.
Do you need a logo or watermark? How about wanting to put a spin on the business checks you carry with you daily?
Then consider the designer checks option? With our technology, seems we can customize about anything we want, so now you can have designer checks. I enjoy mine, give yours a try.

Barbara Parent hasn’t made a move without Sage Software’s Peachtree Accounting software since the product hit the market in 1976.
“I’ve used it at a swimming pool company, a home-improvement company and a mineral supply retail company,” she says. Parent currently uses the software at Control Concepts & Technology Corp., an off-shore safety control systems service company in Maurice, La. “I have to be able to trust my numbers,” Parent says. “And that’s why I’ve stayed with it.”
That kind of customer loyalty is the hallmark of Peachtree’s developer, Sage Software. “Our focus is on the customer,” says Doug Meyer, president of Sage Software’s small business division. The Gwinnett County-based division distributes Peachtree Accounting and the company’s other marquee products, ACT!, a contact management solution, and Timeslips, a time- and billing-management tool. “We believe there is nothing better for our business than a customer who will recommend our software.”
Founded in Atlanta as Peachtree Software, the company moved to Norcross in 1985 and was acquired by U.K.-based Sage Group PLC in 1999. The small business division employs 650 people in Gwinnett County and expanded to a new technology pavilion at 1715 N. Brown Road in Lawrenceville that can accommodate 1,000.
The division brought in about one-third of Sage’s $586 million in North American revenues for 2005. That’s not bad considering its deep-pocketed competitors. Intuit, makers of Quicken, QuickBooks and TurboTax, saw revenues grow 13 percent to $2.04 billion last year. Microsoft, developer of Outlook, posted 8 percent growth for revenues of a staggering $39.79 billion in the same period.
“Sage’s biggest challenge could be sim-ply the competition in the marketplace,” notes Judy Thornell, president of Bayteck, an authorized Peachtree Software Resource Center in Las Vegas. “The market is always changing so companies have to stay ahead by understanding what customers need. Sage always does that.”
Sage delivers the features users need, but its real competitive advantage, Meyer says, is service after the sale.
“The biggest difference between us and most technology companies is tech support,” he explains. “Theirs is horrible. We view it as a core competency. We have invested in providing a high-quality customer support experience.”
And that investment is paying off. Sage’s small business support center has held Support Center Practices certification since 2001. The designation is given by Service Strategies Corporation to companies that exhibit best practices in customer support.
“In business software, it’s not network issues,” Meyer explains. “It’s how can you help me get more out of software. How can I apply this software to this process? It’s more than break-fix; our customers want advice on how to be more productive.”
Peachtree and ACT! are building on their success. Peachtree Quantum Accounting, a higher end enterprise product, debuted in June. “This is for those businesses that are outgrowing the capabilities of Peachtree,” Meyer says. Two years ago, ACT! introduced a more powerful and scalable platform that made it more useful to businesses.
“We’re capitalizing on exciting customers in a way that allows them to move up seamlessly without learning a new product or database,” he continues. “It’s a terrific growth opportunity.”
Parent can’t wait for the upgrade. She tested the beta version of Peachtree Quantum. “It was really nice being able to be a part of the process,” she says. “They listen. And I know that as long as you are truly listening to your customers, you’ll be successful.”
A young accountant, straight out of uni, applies for a job advertised in the Sydney Morning Herald. He is interviewed by the owner of a small business accounting software professional who has built it up from scratch. “I need someone with an accounting degree,” says the man, “but mainly I’m looking for someone to do my worrying for me.” “How do you mean?” says the accountant. “I have lots of things to worry about, but I want someone else to worry about money matters.” “OK,” says the accountant. “How much are you offering?” “You can start on seventy-five thousand,” says the owner. “Seventy-five thousand dollars. How can a business like this afford to pay so much?” “That,” says the man, “is your first worry.”
Are checks disappearing?
Since the age of electronic transactions, checks in general are still being used. The personal checks are beginning to decline. Business checks are still steady. Some people just don’t want to deal with the banks because of the fees and other reasons. You can still have your money to be deposited into a account and your debit card would have the fund on it instantly on that payday. Walmart is one of them that are offering the Green Dot service.
Business checks are still being used very strongly overall though. WHY? It’s cheaper to write a check than it is for electronic deposit per employee. Business checks are a lot easier to trace and easy for reconciliation of your acct.
To order checks can sometimes be a hassle. I find it difficult to order another series of checks, because I lost the reorder slip that comes with the previous book of checks. I usually end up calling the bank, placed on hold, my account information is both asked and verified again, then I am transferred to another person who starts the process again. I just want to order checks.
Would it not be nice to go online and both choose and customize your check refill? This method would both eliminate the need for calling your local bank, being placed on hold, and or transferred an unknown amount of time. I simply order checks on Choice Checks, choose my background or picture and complete my order.
Choice Checks offers both time saving and customization when you order checks. Thank you for allowing us to save you time and money.
We all know that Valentine’s Day is coming up this weekend. What is a good gift to give to your co-workers? We all know that must people give out candy, flowers, gift cards, or a greeting card. I’ve been asked for an idea that is different for their co-workers. How about a red check for $25 to each? Not a bad idea. Well sorry…they don’t make a red check.
The closest thing you can do is a burgundy business checks. You can have it custom made with a heart for the watermark, and on the memo line place “Happy Valentine’s day”. That would be a unique and different gift to give. To really make it better, have this upcoming Friday to be the actual pay day, and include your regular paycheck, and then the extra bonus check.
How many styles and colors are available for checks?
Most banks only offer 4 colors, and charge on average about $75 for 250 business checks. There are actually over 25 colors/styles that you can find. Most companies just focus on having in stock the top 10 and the rest is special order. With all of the business checks that are available, they all are under the same rules and regulations for safety features.
Mailing business checks in a regular envelope is fine, but make sure the envelopes do have security liner. Along with business check security, you can’t forget to make sure the envelopes are just that important as well. Having different styles really can help your branding to be more noticeable.
What are the systems requirements for quickbooks
We have obtained the information for QuickBooks users. What kind of business checks does QuickBooks use? QuickBooks uses mostly checks on top, or full page of checks (3 checks to a page). Choice Checks has 28 colors to select from and great prices. I ordered from them, and was very impressed with their service and selection. I’ve been asked, can you use checks in middle with Quickbooks. NO, you can’t if you need checks in the middle, I would recommend peachtree.

Download Requirements
You must have all three of the following to download QuickBooks:
After installing QuickBooks, you can delete the installations program from your computer to free up disk space. The QuickBooks Pro and Premier installers give you the option to auto-delete those files. Choose that option to free up disk space immediately.
Although checks are gradually being replaced by debit cards and ACH technology, they still have their place in the business world. Small businesses, for the most part, still write business checks for payroll. Whenever a business of any size needs to pay a bill, like rent, shipping, advertising costs, and storage the accounts payable department just cuts a check and mails it out.
Believe it or not, business checks also help develop your brand. Your business checks should say something about your company, so use a good color/style to get your business out there. We have a few ideas to get you started for your business checks:
1. Think about how many things you write checks for. This will help you choose the right quantity to buy.
2. Consider what program you’re going to be using to print the checks with. Most popular is Peachtree or QuickBooks. (Peachtree uses checks in middle. QuickBooks uses full page of checks or checks on top which is most popular)
3. Customize your checks with your company’s logo. Custom checks can help you brand your business. Color logo does make your check more outstanding.
I’ve been asked a lot of times, what are Peachtree quantum system requirements. The program will not run on a MAC system. At this time, no ETA or if they will even do it. Peachtree quantum needs to work on a regular computer.
Peachtree Quantum is built for speed, capacity and performance. Below I have an important notice directly from Peachtree.
Certain features have changed or are no longer available. Peachtree Today has been removed. In Peachtree Complete Accounting or higher it has been replaced with the Business Status Center. In Peachtree Pro Accounting and higher the forms designer can no longer be used to customize payroll tax form templates. Print-N-Sign Tax Forms are not compatible with dot matrix printers. Several aspects of the system requirements have been updated. It is recommended that you carefully review the system requirements for compatibility and acceptance prior to upgrading.

I was looking for Peachtree Quantum. I came upon Choice Checks and they had it for a very good price, and imprinted 1,000 business checks free. That saved me an extra $102.90. I bought Peachtree Quantum 30 user edition. I paid a lot, but didn’t know I was going to get that good of a deal. I called them and the customer service was awesome. The transaction was very easy, and I got the software and checks within a week.
I’ve shopped around for other companies and everything was separate. I’ll be coming back for envelopes and more checks when I use up the ones I got. I couldn’t believe at the selection of checks they had. I looked at peachtree.com, and other sites. I have many accounts and I needed a teal color, not blue. They had it.
