This is because the sample company is stored on the local machine and is in a folder that everyone has permission to access. To open your company make sure that each machine including the server has a full typical install and that the below are allowed through the firewall: SimplyAccounting_upgradejet.exe and SimplyAccounting_conv150.exe 3. CAB is also the format the Accountant’s Copy is saved as. 8. Create a new folder under the root directory C:\, share this folder to the network, and allow other users to modify the contents of it. Open your Simply Accounting by Sage data file, Go to the File menu on the main window and click on Save As Find the new folder under My Computer then C:\, change the file name and click Save 9. Addresses data problems with Windows and other security program updates that may occur when Simply Accounting is running. Better handles greater numbers of concurrent users accessing a company file without impacting performance. 10. Your files are stored in a folder that does not have full permission to access. To fix this store your data in a folder directly under the root of C:\ or make sure the user that is logged in has full rights. |
