How to avoid bank fees per check? Besides having your checking account in a positive status and choosing the right type of acct will help to reduce fees. One of the most important ways is to make sure that your business checks are being printed correctly. Are you using a Inkjet printer, or a regular laser printer? What is MICR toner? Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR). When the checks are being printed, included in the TONER is iron particles that is used for the banks to process the other checks that are being processed through the Check readers. You can use a check reader to make sure your check will pass the bank processing.

The check reader will read all the codes on the bottom of the check (routing number, account number, and check number). It’s easy-to-use, just insert check and view the light indicator.
