Business security is very important for large and small business. Business checks is where it can start at when its in the wrong persons hand. Even though your careful with your accounting department, hackers can still access the banks information and get yours and you’ll be vulnerable for unauthorized checks being written.
Its recommened to have a seperate checking account for accounts payble to payroll checks. that way its easier to reconcile at the end of the month, and you can see what is outstanding vs. one account for EVERYTHING your doing. Having a good bank with your accounts is also good. What kid of ratings does your bank have?
Besides your bank, personel, its also recommened to have a very good location for your business. Have very well lights and security cameras. Have your server and workstations as secure as possible.

Do you write/print a lot of business checks? Do you really need the color logo to be printed that costs extra? Why not go with the black and white for free. Why wait till the last minute to order business checks, and then have them shipped overnight, instead of ground.
The more organized and you keep track of your companies supplies, it can really save hundreds to thousands of extra expenses per year. Wouldn’T you rather have your boss to be able to have extra money, that may turn into a bonus for you? I know i would. There are many Internet sites designed for purchasing cheap checks. I enjoy the many options and automatic reorder some sites have. In this current economy, every savings is an important one. Remember to look for cheap checks, while providing a good product.

To email from the Reports & Forms menu in Releases 2008 and later, use the following steps:
To set up e-mail option for Customers and Vendors:
- From Maintain, Customers, select a customer from the Customer ID list, enter an e-mail address on the General tab, and then click the Sales Info tab.
- In the “Form Options” select “E-mail” for the Delivery Method.
Note: For Vendors, select the appropriate Vendor, enter an e-mail address on the General tab, and click the Purchase Info Tab. In the “Form Options” select “E-mail” for the Delivery Method.
To E-mail forms through reports:
- From the Reports & Forms menu, select Forms, and the type of form you want to E-mail, and then click the Preview and Print button.
Example: If you want to email customer invoices, go to Reports & Forms, Forms, and Invoices and Packing Slips. On the Forms, select the invoice form you would like to Email. Click the Preview and Print button on the right side of the screen.
- Select your desired criteria on the Preview and Print** tab, click Refresh List button, and then select the E-mail Options tab. Under the Actions section, you may choose to both send an E-mail and also print a paper duplicate, or only send an E-mail. Choose the option you want, and Click Print/E-mail.
- The e-mail window will appear with the form attached. At this point, you can change who the e-mail is addressed to, the subject, or the message text. Click the Send.
If you don’t want to preview each e-mail before it is sent, on the E-mail Options tab, clear the show me each e-mail before sending check box.
Note: Peachtree Software Works with Microsoft Outlook Express®, Outlook® Express, and other MAPI-compliant e-mail programs.

Many customers need blank deposit slips. These work with various software programs. It is important to ensure your software program prints all deposit slip information. Traditionally, the slips are on blank paper usually attached to a book, that can be removed via perforation.
Some software programs will allow you to print blank or information filled deposit slips. Some possible options would be blank or data. With the blank option, you would be able to fill the information manually using a pen. The data option, you will be able to have the information printed on as many deposit slips that you need.
Out of all of the different check colors that are available out there, what color/type is the most popular? It is the versacheck refill, classic blue. What does it look like. The versacheck refills do comes in blue, burgundy, tan, and green.
The versacheck refills were available at Office Depot, but their contact ran out, so you’ll have to find them at other retailers. Its amazing at the selection you can buy for your business needs.
