If you have had your merchant account for more than 6 months. It may be time for a rate review. Call customer service and see if they will give you a review. Having one, can reduce your percentage of being paid, and save you money in the long run. See if any of the fees can be reduced as well. You pay someone else for service, and its good to get assistance from them.
Cheap business checks can be ordered, and you’ll be able to print the checks for your self. Thats a good way of saving money, and keeping costs down for your business. The more you can do to keep cost down, the more revenue you’ll have for the business. Small things monthly can really add up for the entire year. We all have to save our own personal, money, so it should be the same way with your business.

We all by now have a debit or a credit card. When we go to the ATM machine, we are at a high risk of being hit by a scammer. The credit card skimmers are growing by 10% according to the secret services. Their are a few safe guards that we can use to protect our selves. We just have to be more careful where we use our cards at.
The skimmers are going to be more prone at convenient stores, small grocery stores, fairs, and other major public outlet. Some of these people are using a micro camera to see your PIN number, while they capture your credit/debit card information. If you need cash, just go to your bank and get it where you know for a fact your information wont be stolen. If you put in your card into a ATM machine and its loose…dont use it. You can write out a check for cash that will be safer. Just like when your ordering versacheck refills, it comes with a check validation code. Its just for your protection of the program to make sure the checks you just purchased is check 21 compliance.
Banks may start to cap your debit card transaction if it passes. This isnt good news for any business accepting debit cards. N limit on the credit card transactions at this time, but mainly for the debit cards. Chase bank is one of them that is for this. Representatives from Wells Fargo, HSBC (HBC) declined to comment on their plans at this time.
If this goes into affect, it will make those that use debit cards to use alternative means of paying for goods online. One of the ways will be by checks, swap to a credit card, or use cash only. For those e-commerce that uses debit/credit cards will suffer big time. They are doing it, to reduce the amount it costs the merchants with the interchange fees that is at $0.44 per transaction down to $0.12 per transaction. If your doing b2b, and using a credit card, or paying by business checks, you’ll be ok. We all may have to alter how we accept payments for our customers. Its not congress, but the banks that is doing this. Order bulk blank checks

How interactive are you with your customers? Do you give them monthly newsletters? How about specicals that everyone can use, but not target certain ones? With a company growing, you need to cater to everyone. Yes you make money off of each sale, but what are you giving to benefit the customers though? Specials really keep the customers coming back, and the easier you can make it, the better.
Today’s market is hard enough to keep your existing customers, let along gaining new ones. Sometimes offering free shipping, updated points rewards, or a percentage off certain products really makes a huge difference to them. Starting out a company does take alot of hard work. Your always making changes to the company, adding new products, enhancing the site, inventory, accounting and so much more. One thing that customers loves is to see how your company is growing. Moving around can hurt your business, but staying in one place and doing promotions does wonders.
Customers enjoy seeing new products and seeing what you can offer them. Any new benefit to your customers will always be a huge hit and get their attention. I saw a site that had offered checks for years, and now they have added better, and best security features to their bulk blank checks
. Didnt know that their was so many out there on the market.

If your company offers shipping from your online store, make sure you have a back up plan. If your shipping a product to a customer express and theirs bad weather in Memphis TN. Your package may be delayed with FedEx. Since Memphis is the hub for FedEx, and if bad weather comes, you need to have a back up plan. Yes, they will post a note on their website about it, but UPS doesnt have a special hub like FedEx does.
UPS has hubs and etc….like FedEx, but not a special one for express. UPS is really good about posting the state/cities that will be affected. Always check the weather and see where the package is going, and have a back up plan. The customer will needed to have their bulk blank checks on time. Offering another way is really showing customer service to them, and make a huge difference on the next order.
How good is your customer service? During the year, were always busy with our business with so many things to do and worry about. We forget sometimes about one thing that is so crucial for the business and that is customer service. So….how good really is it? If your business is growing, make sure you have enough people to run it.
Customer service consists of answering phone calls quickly, with out putting them on hold. Acknowledge the customers every time they come into the store, and or your website with auto chat. Answering emails quickly with the correct details. Dont forget the fax machine. Customer service is also consisted of a friendly person to assist you all the way. The better your customer service, the more sales you will have when a customer is ordering a complex product, like business checks

When I was growing up, my Grandma Lucy (my Dad’s mother) would send me a birthday card every year. Pretty typical of a grandmother, right? Well, the catch was that it would arrive during a different month every year. See, grandma was a fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants type of woman who didn’t believe in conventional things like calendars or appointment books. She never made it a full year without remembering my birthday, but the time of year that she recalls my special day is never consistent.
When I finally did receive my birthday card from grandma, there was always a blank check waiting inside – blank checks are the best! I never knew if it was because she was leaving it up to me to choose the amount or because she simply forgot (I wouldn’t put it past her). The amounts that I awarded myself would vary based on the year, but I never wrote the blank checks out for more than $50 because who could ever live with ripping off their grandma?

I’ve been asked all the time, does peachtree bulk blank checks come in the same color as quick books business checks? Yes they do. Theirs not difference in the color and or style of the business checks. If you have the right check creation program, laser printer, and MICR toner. Then you can do your own business checks.
Peachtree business checks is different than the Quickbooks. Peachtree is checks in middle, with 4 standard different styles. Quickbooks checks is checks on top, and you can have them with or with out the lines. Dont forget to add your logo and or watermark to your business checks. Bulk blank checks are easy to buy and you can find them with three styles and over 12 colors to select from.

We all know that theirs UPS, FedEx and UPS to select for the company to use when shipping your customers orders. Well which one is going to be better? FedEx and UPS is about the same time frame. UPS ground may cover next day more, but what about security? When boxes go through different transits systems. You have them throwing the boxes, belts, transfers and etc…
Ups is a little bit m
ore rougher on the boxes than the other 2 shippers. USPS will take alot longer to get to you. When shipping bulk blank checks, ups will dirty up the boxes more than FedEx. FedEx drivers are on contract, so they must get the boxes there at a certain time. UPS is on union, but does good as well. You want to make sure the boxes are not broken, checks out of order or out of place. Want to make sure the merchandise isn’t damaged. I have encountered boxes most of the time with ups to be damaged or torn. Dont have to worry about that with Fedex

We all hate doing taxes, but especially when it comes to doing your business taxes. Go ahead and get ready for taxes. Organize each catagory, and details now. When you file your taxes, or have someone else do them for you, it will make it that much more easier for them. Being organized for taxes can really save you alot of time later on when your busy and cant do it. Take your slow time now and be prepared.
You can ask your accountant for a guide, envelopes, that will help guide you through it. If your using Peachtree or Quickbooks, it will make it just that more easier. Dont forget to use all of your office supplies, including blank checks as a tax write off. You’ll be surprised
at how much you can write off under office supplies.

Ordering business checks is easy to do. For those that are new to accounting. Quickbooks is the most selling program for generic business. Peachtree accounting is more detail and no way of cheating the system. Its really by the book, and you’ll find out the exact amount your business is doing by each sale, and by the year. Quickbooks does accounting by averaging everything out.
We all need to know the facts on our business. If your ordering in different bulks, or quantity, then its easy to use your checks as well for paying your vendors. Ordering bulk blank checks is the best way to do it, if your printing your own checks. Theirs so many different colors of bulk blank checks to select, but that is just the fun part of doing a business.
Theirs so many different accounting programs out there that we cant keep with them all. Some of the major programs is the Peachtree and Quickbooks accounting program. Some accounting programs are done on a mainframe system for a large company or corporation. Im glad i know more about the check styles than the tax forms LOL.
Quicken, Quickbooks uses the checks on top, 3 to a page, or 3 up for personal. You can have a program that will print onto the blank checks
for you with or with out the lines. Peachtree uses checks in middle. Peachtree has 4 different styles to select from. With peachtree or quickbooks, you can customize the templates and adjust where on the check you need the information to be imprinted. If your not sure, call customer service for that accounting program to get the information on the style you may need.
